Have you ever said or thought, “I love everything about pickleball! Well, except the sun, the wind, the rain, the heat, the cold, and the waiting?” Chances are you have, and so did our founder, Ace Rodrigues. And that was how the idea for Pickleball Kingdom got started. He loved the sport, especially the spirit of it, but wanted to eliminate the downsides of playing outdoors. Since no ball in any sport is more affected by the wind, it just makes sense to play indoors.

On May 2, 2022, the first Pickleball Kingdom opened in Chandler, Arizona to much fanfare! It has the outdoor surfaces that everyone knows and loves, but with all the indoor benefits. The club has 15 individually fenced courts, a beautiful mezzanine viewing area, a pro shop, snack bar, locker rooms with showers, and much more!

After a year of operations and perfecting the system, Pickleball Kingdom was ready to expand nationally through franchising. The Leadership Team started reviewing franchise applications in May of 2023. The response to the opportunity of owning a Kingdom was enormous. Six months later, about 100 franchise clubs had been awarded, with that number growing weekly! Pickleball Kingdom strives to become the premier and dominant brand in indoor pickleball first in the United States, then in the world.

At the heart of Pickleball Kingdoms are vibrant, welcoming communities. Whether you are brand new to the sport or a pro, you will feel at home in the Kingdom. Pickleball Kingdom was designed so that nothing affects your game, but your game. Pickleball will bring you in to the Kingdom, but our Community and Culture will make you want to stay.
